If you are used to an A5 sized device and are going to be doing a lot of notetaking I would wait for the A5 X2 in the fall. Nomad is great tho and the landscape pdf support is nice like I mentioned.

You can move the text to where you want vertically. The start point on the left side is kind of set. Hopefully that makes sense

Hey Jakob, honestly if you are a student and are going to be taking a ton of notes I think it's worthwhile to have a larger device. I would wait for the A5 X2. Also fyi I do believe reMarkable offers one free year of connect rn. The Nomad is a great supplemental device or can be great in work settings but for school I would personally want something bigger. Like today I was preparing for a livestream and taking a bunch of notes so I used my rM2, just nice to have extra space. I can't comment too much about the go yet as the details are limited, but I will probably talk about it with Kit on our next livestream. Hope that helps!

I've used one of those, it's hard to compare to a mech keyboard cuz it's so thin. I only use it for a few things too so I don't mind the design. It's not my main way of typing

I think it's sold out at the moment since it's the more affordable one and these are selling quite well. I'd keep checking back if you're trying to get one.

At this point I wouldn't recommend the A5 X, unless you can get it for very cheap. Otherwise the Nomad or upcoming A5 X2 are your best bets.

I have noticed some sibilance too, depending on the genre of music or movie I will tune it. What is your most used EQ setting Ken?

@VladimirKostek I think I was using around -10, -3, -7 but still couldn't get it perfect. So my bose is up on ebay now 😅

@VladimirKostek The ultras I heard were really nice! I wanted to test them out for sure but was just a little expensive for me. With this recent sale on the Beats Studio Pros for $179 I went with those haha. Honestly much better sounding than I expected and pretty neutral as well, just the build quality is a little cheap!

Obsidian integration is possible, I would point you to organizing for change or VladCampos' videos on SN/Obsidian, hope that helps. If I ever start using obsidian maybe I'll make a video one day.

​@@VladimirKostek Note Air 3C is my first tablet and Nomad is second in the e-ink realm, and they really work great for my needs at present, but I am looking into a B&W version only like the new Boox Go 10.3.

Both of those Boox devices have more functionality, you just have to determine if you need all of that. The Nomad can do a lot of what you want...but it is 1.) Smaller and 2.) More focused and less distracting. I think those are two considerations you need to make 👍

Hey Chris, for sketching with precision I like the white push-up pen with the grip I added. HOM2 has a premium feel to it for sure. Ideally soon I will customize a pen so I can get the best of both worlds. The white folio isn't that bad to clean, it will start to look a bit dirty after a while but nothing too crazy. I'll discuss a lot of this in my full review more that is coming out either this friday or saturday. Hope that helps!

That's true haha, no need to replace the nibs either. By a window would certainly be a good way to have it too!

When I get some ceramic tips I'd love to try and adapt those to my light pen. Like I mentioned though I'm sure they could do a much better redesign of this that would focus the light better on the writing surface 🔦

The drawing of Mt Fuji I just exported was 4736x2944. It was about 13MB. The export quality is ok I would say. It could definitely use a little work, It does not appear exactly as it does on the Nomad screen. I'll mention that and show a pic when I talk briefly about Atelier in my full review this week.

So if you needed a new screen you would basically buy the housing with the screen from Supernote and then put all of your working components back in. Hopefully that makes sense

The only spots I've had issues is the edges because of the magnets, it's not bad but the Supernote has kind of fixed this with no magnets for the pen

The biggest one would be that SSC won't work and reverse wireless charging, still a good set of headphones tho with the iPhone

Hey Tyler, I'm actually typing on the 16" from this year right now haha. That's a tough call for sure, two weekends ago I was with a friend who had that laptop and I had the 14" from this video and we were comparing and playing halo. It was cool had them side by side and the Mini-LED was great. Asus is a beast too, only downside he mentioned is armoury crate and the proprietary power cable. Also consider if the .5" diff will be big or not for you for school. Hope that helps!

I talked to a kid I know who goes to the college I’m going to and he said he has a 15.5 inch and doesn’t have any problems with portability at all and said a lot of his classmates also have bulky gaming computers… soooi went with this laptop the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i 16” haha. Can’t wait for it to come in just got to get a backpack big enough to carry it lol

@@VladimirKostek I’ve used my Lenovo yoga pro 9i for a few days and the touchpad has a clicking noise near the bottom middle of the touchpad when I click in certain spots. Is that normal or is it a faulty unit? You are the only UA-camr who responds to comments lol so I thought I’d come back to this vid to ask. The clicking is seriously annoying me and if that’s normal for this model then I might have to return it and get the asus zenbook pro 14 instead

@@VladimirKostek Oh yeah, love the silver on QC35 II. Too bad they aren't making that color anymore with new QC. It's my first time buying a Bose & a brand new QC costs almost the same as used 35 II in here (+shipping), so new QC it is.

@jackjeter7527 yea the silver ones were really cool, I know colorware customizes them but that would negate any savings as those are a little pricier
